ABOUT INTERLINK AIRLINES

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Founded in 1997, Interlink Airlines has an A1, A2, A3, A4 and H1 + H2 license, thus enabling any size aircraft (Aeroplane and Helicopter) to be operated by Interlink Airlines.

Interlink Airlines also has a medical rescue capability and has a 24-hour operations centre available to meet this demand. Interlink Airlines is currently involved in daily schedule air services, large scale charter operations, the repatriation of foreign nationals, VIP and VVIP transport services and is the first South African company outside the Civil Aviation Authority to obtain a Flight Calibration Licence for Navigational Aids.

Interlink Airlines is based at Johannesburg International Airport. This allows ease of travel for all passengers due the available capacity at Johannesburg International Airport.

 

INFRASTRUCTURE

We have fully functional offices as well as check-in facilities available at Johannesburg International Airport, Cape Town International Airport as well as Kruger Mpumulanga International Airport. Click here for contact details.

EXPERTISE

  • Only the most experienced flight and ground staff are used for events.
  • We can also carry out our own safety audits as we have the skills in-house to do so.
  • The combined aviation experience between the Directors and Managers is in excess of 80 years.
  • Mr. Ismail is an Official Examiner. He has 23 years experience in the aviation field having worked in all facets of aviation. He was previously an Aviation Inspector with the SACAA and has in excess of 11 000 hours on extensive aircraft types.
  • Mrs. Cader is responsible for our Marketing and Cabin Services departments. She has over 21 years working experience. She is also the Chairperson of the Interlink Board.
  • Mr. Kaplan is the General Manager: Corporate Services and is responsible for managing this section. He has 41 years experience in this activity. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a flair for practical financial modelling. Mr Kaplan is also responsible for Quality & Assurance functions.
  • Mr. Maharaj is the General Manager: Flight Operations and has over 16 years experience in the Military Aviation Sector. He is responsible for managing the complete Flight Operations Department, which looks after Pilots, Cabin Crew, Security and Operations Administration.
  • Dr. Motshwane is the Responsible Person: Air Ambulance. He oversees our Medical Evacuation and Air Ambulance operations.
  • Mr. Rod Murphy is the consulting commercial manager and has over 40 years experience in aviation including running a successful Scheduled Airlines and Air Charter Companies.
  • We have an extensive database of specialised personnel for specific projects, which can be mobilised at short notice.
